It’s a busy time for our friends at Visionaries & Voices. “Visionaries + Voices is a non-profit organization that provides exhibition opportunities, studio space, supplies, and support to more than 125 visual artists with disabilities.” Visionaries & Voices, or V+V as many know them, have one of their studios right here in our Frame USA building in Springdale. They’ve been part of our Frame USA family for the last 15 years, and if you didn’t already know of them, now is the time too!
Visionaries + Voices’ Bounty Paper Towels
Just this past month, V+V announced their partnership with Bounty paper towels. Team Bounty fell in love with V+V, as many do, and added their work to the Bounty Prints Inclusive Artist Project Collection. “By featuring V+V artwork on Bounty paper towels, the dreams of a small-but-mighty, non-profit art studio have become a reality on grocery shelves and in kitchens across North America.” Currently, you can purchase these special Bounty paper towels in Meijer and Sam’s Club stores, but they will also be available at your local Kroger starting in July. Here is their interview about the project with WLWT:
But if you thought that was great, coming back in full force on Friday, May 13th is Visionaries & Voices Double Vision event. Their 13th annual live art auction and fundraising event will take place at Memorial Hall in OTR. As with many things, COVID hindered this event drastically the last 2 years. If you’ve never been to this event, we can promise you won’t be disappointed. It’s a night of great art, great fun, and great entertainment, all for a GREAT cause.
For these reasons and many more, Frame USA is proud to designate Visionaries & Voices as our May Charity of the Month. During the month of April, a portion of the order you place on www.frameusa.com and/or through custom framing in our Retail Store will go towards Visionaries & Voices.
