When you’re a family that has a child with a life-threatening condition, your life can easily be spent in and out of doctors and hospitals. A life like this is nowhere near a “Normal” life for a kid. A Kid Again is a 501c3 charity that is all about bringing back a few moments of “Normal” for families affected by life-threatening conditions.
Mission of A Kid Again
A Kid Again has served 300,000 people since 1995. A Kid Again exists to foster hope, happiness, and healing for children with life-threatening conditions and their families. They have a vision that every child in America with a life-threatening condition can be A Kid Again.
A Kid Again is for the entire family, not just the ill child because the entire family is affected when a child is diagnosed with a life-threatening condition.
In addition to providing normalcy to these families, they also provide a chance for new families to connect with other families who have been through similar conditions. They have grown to 15 markets and 6 chapters total. The markets include Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and South Carolina. As well as, families throughout Michigan, Maryland, West Virginia, Illinois, Alabama, New York, Washington, D.C., Kentucky, New Jersey, and Delaware.
Kid’s Experience
Children that get to experience the gifts of A Kid Again have the following conditions:

These children are able to go on adventures to places that include:

- Holiday Parties
- Gaming events and more.
The entire family gets the chance to enjoy these adventures 100% cost-free.
